Biggest Turnoffs for Young Athletes

Kids are more resilient than adults give them credit for. However, below is a list of the things that they cannot overcome - listed in order of biggest turnoff:
1. Boring practices – Continually look for ways to excite them. Same old routine every day is not good.
2. Boring Practices – Keep them active and teach through it. This is more difficult with some sports.
3. Boring practices – Use competition to pick up the energy. Nothing motivates more than a challenge and a chance to win.
4. Boring practices – Inspire with the type of words you use.
5. Boring practices – let kids be themselves but always point out and recognize the character traits of good athletes.
You get the point – nothing is worse than slow and boring for the video game generation.
