The Thankfulness Season for Youth Coaches

Sports coaching tips of the day

Yes, it’s time to reflect and give thanks. Things youth coaches should be thankful for:

1. The opportunity to be around the game they grew up playing.
2. The opportunity to influence kids’ careers and lives.
3. The opportunity to help player parents navigate their way through the youth sports challenges.
4. The opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of their workplace
5. The opportunity to be thought of twenty years from now in a positive way.
6. The opportunity to spend quality time with own child.
7. The opportunity to expand their knowledge of the game.
8. The opportunity to develop long term relationships with other parents and coaches.
9. The opportunity to challenge oneself and be all they can be.
10. The opportunity to inspire the uninspired and pessimistic athletes.

Much to be thankful for, don't screw up your opportunity!
